What Does Your Shoe Style Say About You?

Are you addicted to sky-high heels or obsessed with fabulous flats? Your shoe style says more about you then you might think.

Your eyes may be the window to your soul, but your sole is the window to your shoe style. Your preference over the seasons hottest trends can reflect your mood, your attitude and more importantly who’s attention your trying to land. Have you ever noticed when you wake up in the morning the side of bed you get up on usually illustrates your style for the day and more importanly the shoes you step into to complete your outfit? Think about this, you wake up in the morning and instantly feel on edge. Not necessarily in a bad mood but edgy in the way Angelina Jolie is in about 99.9% of her movies. You immediately want to combat the world. It may be because today is the day you want to grab the attention of the cute guy in the cubical next to you or possibly you just feel like you want to kick-butt and look good while doing it. Think back to that day. Did you happen to slip on your military style ankle boots? Or maybe you felt even more daring and opted for those leather knee-highs that have been sitting in your shoe closet just waiting to come out and play.

How about when you dress a little more preppy and polished. Did you happen to notice that day you felt more reserved? Not in a way that holds you back from having a good time but maybe more in the mood for a picnic in the park rather than heading to the club. Channeling Reese Witherspoon, you thought it was more appropriate to slip on those ballet flats with just enough pop that made you look effortless yet eye-catching.

The next time your confidence feels sky-high, don’t be surprised if you reach for those pumps that boost both your height and your sense of conviction.
